Cost of the Service

The costs for the hydrofracturing service are typically based on the improvement in well yield. The charges are proportionate to the amount of increase and are typically less than $4,500. In most areas, if the well yield does not increase by some minimum amount, there is no charge for the hydrofracturing service. In some more geologically challenging areas, a nominal base fee is charged.

If it is necessary to remove the pump and liner casing, that would be done by a licensed pump installation contractor at a separate cost. On many occasions, required service or maintenence to the well or pump can be performed as part of the hydrofracturing effort.
