Other Components of the Injection Equipment

The injection equipment has plumbing components including hoses, manifolds, monitoring gages, and adapters for mixing tanks and direct push rods. These elements are tailored to fit the treatment chemical being injected and the direct push contractors' equipment configurations.

Injection of BOS 100® at an alluvial site contaminated with TCE. Over 800 locations were injected using 2 1/4" rod at injection rates between 200 and 250 GPM. Injection of BOS 200® to treat claystone bedrock contaminated with hydrocarbons which leaked from an oil bunker. A total of 130 points were injected using 1 1/2" rod at rates between 30 and 70 GPM.
